2024 Summer Camp is a five-day, camp for girls and boys who will be entering 1st through 6th grade in the fall of 2024
. This non-contact football camp focuses on building football skills and testing speed, strength and agility. No prior athletic experience is required. This camp runs every EVENING from 5:30pm to 7:00pm on Monday, August 5th through Friday, August 9th at Boothbay Region High School.
Camp fee: $35.00 / player
Week of August 5th - 9th, 5:30 - 7:00 pm
Wiscasset Parks and Recreation is excited to announce that we are jumping into our 2nd year of our Football affiliation with Boothbay and MidCoast Football League for the upcoming 2024 season.
This is no longer just the Boothbay Youth Football League, we are expanding it to the MidCoast Region Youth Football League.
We are joining forces with the Boothbay Region and other area towns to offer football to a more widespread audience.
This program is based on age appropriate levels, flag and tackle, giving our youth a competitive level of play with kids of similar skills and age.
The fee for this program is set at $95.00 for all Junior Varsity & Varsity participants. This is a straight cost across the board for all Mites & Minor participants.
Pee-Wee is $35.00
Equipment provided by our league as follows:
Helmet, shoulder pads & football pants.
Families need to provide:
Cleats, mouth guard & athletic cup.

The MidCoast Region Youth Football League is part of the Central Maine Football League (South Division). We will be playing against the following teams:
Gray-New Gloucester, Lisbon, Maranacook, Oak Hill, Tri-Town and Winthrop/Monmouth.
Levels of Play:
Pee Wee: Grades 1-2 (Flag)
Junior Varsity: Grades 3-4 (Tackle)
Varsity: Grades 5-6 (Tackle)
Practices for Junior Varsity & Varsity programs will start the week of Tuesday, August 20th.
Pee Wee (Flag) will be determined by registration if intramural or league games will be scheduled.
Games are usually on Saturday's.
The season will go into late October.
