There is no better time to make positive changes in your health!
Kick off the New Year with a personal fitness challenge with individual goals!
Put the holiday snacks behind you and join a class that will show you the in's and out's of your own personal fitness, modifying every movement for each individual.
Open to all fitness levels, this class embodies the question: do you want to change your fitness? If your answer is yes, then come join like-minded people in a fun, safe exercise environment. Bodyweight exercise will be the prime focus, and weights, bands, and more will be incorporated as the class progresses. Whether you just need some guidance to kick away the winter doldrums, or you are attempting to truly make a positive change in your fitness habits and abilities, come and train with me, Cedric Maguire!
Join our WCC Fitness Trainer Cedric for 12 weeks of continued learning about fitness, wellness, and self discipline. Work with him to build a strong foundation of fitness, based in consistency, honesty, and fun!
Bodyweight exercise is the main exercise method used in this class, but free weights, exercise balls, medicine balls, and many more apparatus can and will be utilized to expand your personal exercise repertoire.
Exercise form, time management, personal exercise programming, and goal setting will be stressed, but through the work performed, participants will gain ability to freely exercise and exceed their former selves on their own, or, in other group fitness classes. Come learn with us!

Week 2: Conditioning, Progression and Regression
Week 3: Station Work
Week 4: Iron and You, Elevated Surfaces
Week 5: Fun Day
Week 6: Stretching, Recovery
Week 7: Training, Maintenance
Week 8: How to Do Something You Cannot Do
Week 9: Consistency
Week 10: Self Respect
Week 11: Timing and Scheduling
Week 12: Testing

Potential participants should be medically cleared for exercise before participation. This class involves moderate to heavy exertion, getting down to the ground and standing again, and full body movements., and so I do not recommend this class for those who are currently undergoing or have recently “finished” physical therapy, although modifications are available. Breaks are encouraged during class, and bringing a water bottle and personal exercise mat is highly recommended. Each week will feature an overlying theme and novel exercises, with the overarching goal of educating and refining one’s fitness acumen and ability through self study and reflection.
